- In 2013, he was fined €2,250 for signing a petition calling for sabotage of railroads in protest against nuclear waste
transport.
- He publicly displayed the PKK flag, which is banned in Germany, during a parliamentary session, protesting the lifting
of immunity for a colleague. The PKK is considered a terrorist organization in Germany, and displaying its symbols is
illegal. He received a reprimand for this action.
- In 2010, he was fined 2250 Euros for participating in a call to “Schottern” during a Castor transport, which involved
